Andrew Moore reviews Maria and the Shelduck 

Andrew Moore recently shared his thoughtful reflection on Maria and the Shelduck: 

“What a lovely book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. All ages will enjoy the adventures of Maria and Dr Paul, not to mention the introduction and part played by other characters. I am sure others will now want to become keen bird watchers and follow in Maria's footsteps. Excellent in the way the book addresses several issues which arise in life! Could there be a Part 2 in due course. Thank you Claire Rosemary Jane.” 

Reading Andrew’s words is truly heartening. It’s so rewarding to know that Maria’s journey, along with the wider cast of characters, resonated across all ages. I especially love the thought of readers feeling inspired to explore nature and perhaps even take up bird watching themselves. As for a continuation… it’s always encouraging to hear that readers aren’t quite ready to say goodbye just yet, and that means a great deal to me.
